Qal Imperfect Transliteration

You Should Memorize The Qal Imperfect Verb And Know All Preformatives And Sufformatives

Practice: Press the “Sound” button to the left. Transliterate (change the Hebrew expression to an English written expression) what you hear by typing in the block on the right side of the page.

Use a “k” for the Hebrew “quf”, a “t” for the “tav”, “l” for “lawmed”, “y” and/or “i” for “yud”, “e” for “segole” or any pronounced “sheva”, “u” for “vav”.

Much of this course is based on audio and transliteration, so the better you can tranliterate, the better!
