What Pastors Should Know About Female Chastity

God's law provided for chastity in marriage. A male parent had the responsibility to see that his daughter was chaste and given good respect and financial responsibility from her husband.

Today, in almost all countries Hebrew dowry law is not followed. Nevertheless, female chastity is still a biblical requirement. The New Testament did not destroy the law, and it also fulfilled it by repealing the Old Testament divorce and remarriage law.
Always remember marriage was justified by proof of the woman's chastity; if the bride was found not to be a virgin, she had no right to attempt to propose an unclean marriage.

So, even though we do not follow the dowry law specifically, we still have an obligation among Christians to not accept fornicators and those involved in defiled marriages into our congregations. Such should be offered annulment, including heretics such as Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Joyce Meyer, and many others.
