I Corinthians 7

¹⁸ Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.¹

Paul is evidently speaking to Hebrew converts and Gentiles. Today, we have Jewish people, who cannot qualify genetically and genealogically as Hebrews, but they are familiar with the law of circumcision. As members of the church and followers of Christ and the new covenant, today we Christians have progressed spiritually in many ways. We know we are no longer under the law, but grace.
