Jeff Chu, talking about your observation of the “Book of Ecclesiastes,” mentioned you stated: “even if I’m not sure it’s of divine origin.” Not being sure is doubting. It takes faith to please God.

for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

What concerns me Megan is that you make sure you have faith in Jesus the Christ as your savior, and as your best friend. I know Him personally; he is my best friend. A person can study the Bible for years and years but without a personal relationship with Jesus, that person doesn't understand what God wants him or her to know. Actually, it is really easy. A child can have a personal relationship with Him. It doesn't take a lot of learning, just faith and humility to revere, look and seek unto the awesome God that created this wonderful world.

I talk with Jesus. Before you go to sleep tonight, make sure you have a personal relationship with Jesus the Christ. He loves you. The Lord Jesus wants you to seek God the Father so He can show you truth. Jesus said, “... I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) Do not quit seeking God unto He gives you His peace concerning this matter.

I don't know your personal spiritual condition, but I know that I am glad God saved me, and I know if I am walking in faith, hope and love (1 Cor. 13), my life will be great. So I want to remind you to walk in the knowledge of God, and faith, and whatever you do, do it in faith, not doubt, even if you have to change to a different Bible book for a while.

2 Tim. 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
