Dear friends,
Satan is destroying the young people. He has already inveigled and victimized many adults with irreligion, corrupt government, avaricious and indifferent society so as many adults do not even take care of themselves, let alone the young. He uses the medical profession to abort innocent, little babies. He uses the classroom to demoralize little children and promote unchastity through daring and defiant instructors of perversity with condoms. In order to be delivered from such horrible circumstances, we must turn to God and separate ourselves from such rebellious and irreverent people. I have included a former letter encouraging Christians to separate themselves from this present evil and giving them many reasons why they should.
(This is not a personal letter.)
Dear clergy, laity, and interested persons,
From my perspective there is the Biblical view, the Roman Catholic view and the Protestant view. Christian education for children is desired among many Roman Catholics and Protestants alike. There may be a way the latter, separate groups which oppose each other, and righteously so upon many issues, may be able to unite their efforts to financially sustain Christian schools that provide for all children whom their parents desire to attend, including the indigent (see sermon #1).
Perhaps, the union of participating denominations may create many legal issues among ourselves; however, very importantly, the avoidance of majority rule of any particular denomination is to be desired. I believe parents, regardless of belonging to any particular denomination or not, should agree to share the expenses of the same buildings and grounds, and divide the administration costs. Churches may lend their spare buildings for classrooms if feasible. The construction of unnecessary new buildings and immediate large costs may be postponed. (By the way, churches have a history of changing, and because of the number of members, the more Christ-like become separated from the new comers and are no longer welcome. So we should keep in mind the possession of property is only temporary. Nevertheless, we have a great commission and task ahead of us. We are obligated to remember the poor and the mass of people who need our help (sermon #2). The future and eternity of innocent little children is dependent upon us!)
Qualified volunteer or low salary teachers should be chosen: men and women possessing grace and knowledge of the truth, who love others and have an aptitude to teach. Even though a college degree may represent a degree of ability and skill; it is not necessary. There are many bright Christians without a college degree who could be trained to teach. Since Christian education is a mission of God, the teachers should demonstrate selflessness, not desiring excessive financial gain; and having fidelity to the Scriptures, not having a desire to impose self serving or pseudo-philosophical goals upon students. Just think of all the Satanic and destructive influence the children who go to public schools could escape if we give them the chance. Condoms would never have to be offered in our own schools!
The doctrinal administration of the various denominations, without dominance, could even perhaps utilize the same teachers in the non-doctrinal subjects such as: reading, writing, math, English, science, etc., thus, making the place of Christian education an elementary school and institution of learning that is more likely to sustain itself through efficiency of its much larger resources. Teachers could commute from various buildings if necessary. As far as the non-doctrinal subjects are concerned, the children could be taught without being discouraged (sermon #2) or persecuted for their faith in Christ, their faith in God's creative powers (Gn., ch. 1), their hope in Christ, their love for one another and respect of God's commandments, for praising God and giving Him glory in their studies.
Incidentally, since God's word is the most important thing in this world, the original languages, Greek and Hebrew, should be offered optionally between seventh and ninth grade, so as to encourage and sustain spiritual and intellectual growth. This discipline would continue to offer the student a key to unlock the hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge in God and Christ, with a much more critical tool than the translated sources in Latin and English.
Parents, it takes effort and time to establish a proper place of learning. By the way, in the mean time, there are many self teaching ancient language courses on the market. (Don't let the word "ancient" scare you.) Find a book store that sells them! From speaking with dealers, there are not many such requests from people--this is a strong indication of ignorance (perhaps because of lack of encouragement), neglect and intellectual weakness concerning spiritual things--no wonder so many phonies get away with taking people's money and the world is so corrupt and broken. Children, learn to read and use these books--you need this! Begin with New Testament Greek at about age 13 and follow up with Old Testament Hebrew later on. The sooner you learn , the better; however, I recommend everyone to learn these languages regardless of age. Young men and women, nothing is impossible if you have faith. Commit yourselves to God and the word of his grace (Acts 20:32). Put your trust in the power of God and his word: consider the success of Asa, king of Judah, when he relied on the Lord (II Ch. 16:1-9). If you seek God and commit yourself to him, he will help you. You can seek him and learn his will for you by studying your Bible--this is the most important study there is. "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him" (II Ch. 16:9). In Asa's day military power and faith in God defeated the enemy, but in our day we need knowledge of the Bible and obedience to its direction--complete reliance upon God's word, even without military protection (sermon #2)--see the New Testament book of Ephesians, chapter six. Our enemy is manifested in the manifold channels of philosophy and deeds that do not agree and adhere to the word of God. However, we will be victorious in Christ if we abide in His word. Also, the Apostle Paul said, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled" (II Cor. 10:3-6).
Personally, I do not want to commercialize the gospel or learning materials that pertain to the gospel, so I will not print a book and try to sell it, but for necessity's sake the books must be acquired. The Bible teaches "freely you received, freely give" (Mt. 10:8). That's the way I intend to do. However, when I started to learn the original Bible languages, since no one offered to give me a free self learning book, I had to buy it. I don't believe that is a sin on my part. The apostles did not sell gospel material; they gave their lives for it. Having been convicted of the exemplary lives of the early church leaders, perhaps in the future people will be inspired to do the same. Today, however, even well intentioned preachers are selling their materials. Worse yet, on the other hand, there are those that are deceiving many, even if the least popular and influential one of those who extol and aid the promotion of their chief peers were to repent of their common deception he would be the greater. The Apostle Paul or Peter never spoke like you hear, for instance, the many irreligious bureaucratic parrots and seminary graduates bid for return money such as, "Return the order form today, or for fast delivery use your credit card!" Today's seductive preachers and teachers are not only selling a pernicious substitute (sermon #11) for what they should be giving; they are also suggesting the worldly economic practice of credit and interest (sermon #1), which is another stumbling block that Christians should avoid (Dt. 15:1-11).
God wants his people to be knowledgeable. Great destruction and loss have come upon people because they didn't have knowledge or wisdom of God that He wanted to give them--even by simply asking Him. However, in order to come to full growth, it takes study of the Scriptures mixed with faith and prayer, fellowship and witnessing to others, in school also. To the contrary, the public schools are offering modern foreign languages (which may be useful in itself), but they are offering things other than that pertain to God's knowledge and wisdom and growth; they are solicitors of Satan and dare to disallow the teaching of Christ--this will only end in destruction!
Obviously, Christian denominations have different doctrines--that is why we have been separated from one another, but that does not necessarily destroy the possibility of the contending divisions from joining together to support one another and themselves in the Christian missionary areas (Christian education) that we do agree. We need to realize that there are spiritually only two sides--Christ and the world. Joining together would give us a legal and financial advantage. Not only that, it would strengthen the pursuit of unity among the whole church without forcing individual beliefs upon others; the doctrinal administrations (denominations) may retain their individuality. (However, from a personal view, I know all denominations are lacking spiritually, and no individual Christian is beyond reproof.)
We need to work together in missionary education (kindergarten, elementary and high school) in this and other countries so that we will have a better chance of existing in this world. Let's face it; we have a lot of things against us: anti-Christian education in public schools (see sermon #1); which costs us tax money (sermon #2); abortion (sermon #3); false teachers in the church and denial of God's marital establishment, which is when a male lies with a virgin female (Ex. 22:16, Dt. 22:13-20, 28, 29) (sermon #4); and other than chaste after-marital sex (polygamy or fornication) (sermon #5); the ACLU (sermon #7); Planned Parenthood, principalities (Eph. 6:12), including legal and political opposition against that which is preferentially good for one's soul, family, race, country and world--see #1 also, medical defilement of women, which is medical fornication (sermon #8); opposition of male leadership and female subjection, indifference toward appropriate and holy appearance and dress even to the point of being irreligious and abominable, lack of fundamental training for most young women--see #12 also--they are not being schooled to love their husbands and children, to be discreet, chaste [not having experienced any carnal knowledge, by the way, a girl or woman should not let a man massage her shoulders in public as I've seen or anywhere else if he is not her husband; she should rebuke anyone who attempts to disgrace the virtue of body holiness (see I Cor. 7:1)], keepers at home [career homemakers], good, subject to their own husbands (Tit. 2:4, 5) (sermon #9); incorrect eschatological predictions (sermon #'s 6,7,13); legalism, instead of grace and truth, manifested by intolerance concerning precedence of days (sermon #10); politico-religious myth concerning the constitution of a nation (sermon #7); economic enslavement of our own people (sermon #1); etc. (Write to me and I will be glad to send you a free copy of any of the footnoted sermons which relate to these subjects at your request, as long as I can afford the cost.) [ ... just copy it off the internet.]
I can understand why the affluent may not be as desirous to unite to provide for all who have need because they can afford luxurious, private schools for their own children, and I believe they are certainly financially entitled to that privilege, but on the other hand, I can also understand why the affluent would even want to donate to joint-Christian schools because of the good for society or community as a whole, even if they don't want their own children to attend. Both parents work in many families today. Some families only have one parent. If the non-affluent can't school their children at home, then they need someone else to do it for them. However, public schools must be prevented! We have a need to become independent from the state school system and become Christian self-supporting in all of our institutions and businesses.
Lord willing and we should live, I would like to suggest Christian unity in areas that can be agreed upon for the better of the whole Christian people as a group opposed by the world, but even if the two large denominations, Roman Catholic and Protestant, should refuse to be willing to work together, then, at least the many various sub-denominations of the Protestant church, except those which have false teachers as leaders who deny God's marital establishment, should be willing to adjoin their efforts.
However, there are some essential absolutes that must be established. The doctrine of Christ must be agreed upon as a constitutional necessity among every adjoining denomination whether Protestant or Roman Catholic (Heb. 6:1). Simply, Jesus is God in the flesh, God in the person of the Son. (See the explanation of the Council of Nicaea.) Second, the doctrine of Acts 15:28, 29 must be adhered to: to abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication. As far as fornication is concerned, sexual purity must be encouraged and required by all means. This is why I mentioned the exception of the adjoining denominations because the false leaders most likely would not be willing to agree and repent.
Third, as to doctrine, we should be willing to agree to go on to full growth (Heb. 6:1-3). However, it must be understood that no one, except Jesus, is without fault. James, a servant of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, said in a book we consider divine and authoritative, "we stumble" (James 3:2)--he did not exclude himself.
Fourth, as to a more full respect to the second doctrine in an attempt to avoid any misunderstanding (from the perspective of Ex. 20:3, 4), since words are acceptable to all, and pictures or statues are not, then no graven images should be hung on walls, or monuments placed on the grounds. However, engraven Scriptures are not offensive and therefore are excluded (acceptable).
So, to summarize the adjoining of efforts, simply all that must be established is : (1) the avoidance of majority rule of any particular denomination, which rights, I suppose, each denomination may inherently forfeit by instituting the joint institution in a new name, for instance, "United Missionaries' School of Christian Education," or some other name, and (2) the agreement upon a simple, but holy doctrinal constitution that is yielding and tolerant toward others, and which attempts to avoid unrighteous offense (sermon #10). (See Acts 15:28, 29.)
I hope that these truths and benevolent suggestions inspire interest and thought; deeper thought, think tanks, Christian committees and boards concerning the legal institution of Christian self-supporting schools and education systems; and local and ecumenical action that glorifies God in thought and deed as to the moral preservation of the youth God has entrusted to us.
I am interested in your comments and suggestions.
