Ancient Creatures and Relativity

God made the beasts before he made man. Behaymot was a particular type of animal. If the verse is referring to size while it could bend its tail as if it were like a tree (Job 40:17)—that's a big tail! Similar creatures with a proportionally large tail are crocodiles, but crocodiles don't seem to drink a lot of water (v. 23) compared to a hippopotamus. The Bible does not speak in terms of scientific measurement as we know it today and sometimes it is difficult or impossible to get an exact idea of what was written and to know the relative dimensions and composition.

However, man has only been made since around six thousand years or so according to the record of generations. There were men in early times that were of different dimension than other men—giants. We do not know how big for sure the giants were. Nevertheless, we do know that men lived much longer in the earlier stages of life than men do today.

One thing that may have an important effect upon the study of evolution and the change of the creatures is the theory of relativity. Size and shape back at the beginning of man in relationship to the earth was a different equation (or mathematical expression) with the earth and its orbit.

Job 40:15-41:10
