Vegetation grew being nourished by the first light, without the sun. Adam and Eve were able to eat food already provided from the soil only three days afterward. For so much growth in the time of one day, the great amount of work and cell growth that took place in and out of the earth occurred in a very short time. Space and time had passed from the second day of the expanse, and there seems to have been space-time from the beginning (although perhaps much less on the z-axis, in relative respect to length and width) because there had to be something of matter (foundation of the earth: Is. 51:13, Ps. 104:5, Ps. 136:6) previously that was able to be stretched (Je. 51:15); however, its distance and time equation with relative respect to the earth seems to change especially at particular intervals.
Verse 11 reveals to us that the vegetation coming forth was due to the command of God, not from universal automation as the “Big Bang” seems to imply. Afterward, the cells had the given design to reproduce themselves, a very ordered procedure. Even trees (with their roots) yielding fruit had been made within one day. Our trees today take much longer than that to grow, let alone bearing fruit. This acceleration of earth growth may give us a hint to the space-time equation of the third day and sixth phase-time interval.
