Dear clergy, laity, and interested persons,

From my perspective there is the Biblical view, the Roman Catholic view and the Protestant view. Christian education for children is desired among many Roman Catholics and Protestants alike. There may be a way the latter, separate groups which oppose each other, and righteously so upon many issues, may be able to unite their efforts to financially sustain Christian schools that provide for all children whom their parents desire to attend, including the indigent (see sermon #1).

Perhaps, the union of participating denominations may create many legal issues among ourselves; however, very importantly, the avoidance of majority rule of any particular denomination is to be desired. I believe parents, regardless of belonging to any particular denomination or not, should agree to share the expenses of the same buildings and grounds, and divide the administration costs. Churches may lend their spare buildings for classrooms if feasible. The construction of unnecessary new buildings and immediate large costs may be postponed. (By the way, churches have a history of changing, and because of the number of members, the more Christ-like become separated from the new comers and are no longer welcome. So we should keep in mind the possession of property is only temporary. Nevertheless, we have a great commission and task ahead of us. We are obligated to remember the poor and the mass of people who need our help (sermon #2). The future and eternity of innocent little children is dependent upon us!)

Qualified volunteer or low salary teachers should be chosen: men and women possessing grace and knowledge of the truth, who love others and have an aptitude to teach. Even though a college degree may represent a degree of ability and skill; it is not necessary. There are many bright Christians without a college degree who could be trained to teach. Since Christian education is a mission of God, the teachers should demonstrate selflessness, not desiring excessive financial gain; and having fidelity to the Scriptures, not having a desire to impose self serving or pseudo-philosophical goals upon students. Just think of all the Satanic and destructive influence the children who go to public schools could escape if we give them the chance. Condoms would never have to be offered in our own schools!
