If someone is sick, call a local faithful church and ask them if they believe the following New Testament verses. If they do, ask them when they can attend to the sick person.

James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Mk. 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

II Kings 13:21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the boxes of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.

Have faith and obedience. Get your heart right as Hezekiah did. Don't keep a hidden sin, nor neglect the fear and love of God, and expect recovery. God can heal cancer and disease!

Faith is a requirement of the person being touched by God! We are living in apostate times: people are remarrying or fornicating and not living in faith. They are living in delusion. They have been taught heresy and doctrine contrary to God even in the mainstream churches. These people who have been deceived need healing from their lying doctrine. How can such come to God and expect blessing when they are not living in faith... in chastity or singleness! They need to produce works of repentance and disannulment of their remarriage, or turn from their acts of fornication: works of faith; then they can make themselves applicable to come to God and receive other healing and blessing.

The deciding element which constitutes adultery is whether one of the partners has a living spouse. If a man, for instance, says that he wants to be forgiven for the sin--then he must separate himself from the woman cooperating with him in the adulterous relationship. John the Baptist did not want the Pharisees and Sadducees to think they were permitted to be baptized while continuing in their sins: "Therefore, produce fruits worthy of repentance" (Mt. 3.8). They needed a complete and thorough change in the direction of their thought, and that change in thought needed to be followed up with the proper and accordant conduct. Just by merely saying, "I'm sorry," does not constitute repentance. Repentance is conviction, grief, and correction from the heart, and it manifests itself with an accordant work--self-denial from the lust.

Let us ask our Creator, who made all things, in faith and confidence. (1 John 5.14, 15) God has good will toward man, desiring his creature to be in good health. How one shall consider God's emotional will has an effect on how one shall consider his predeterminate will. His emotional will is the desire he has for all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (I Tim. 2:4). God desires all good things for man: health, peace, wealth, prosperity, goodness, and eternal salvation. The elder expresses his desire for the beloved, "I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (III Jn., v. 2 [INT]). If we believe God wishes mankind well--which he does--then we may pray in faith without wavering; whether we act in faith upon God's word or not, determines our destiny!
