ve'et'hal'le'hah va'r(d)e'ha'vah, kee feekudeyha darashtee

Verbs: Hithpael (reflexive)


45. The 1st expression is a conjunction with a hithpael verb, imperfect, 1st person, common, singular, cohortive. The 2nd word of the 1st expression means not walking literally as walking along a concrete street, but abstractly, ideally. However, depending upon the context, it can: 2 Sa. 11:2.

Notice how the verb adds a preformative, which extends its form from the root #1980.



Dagesh

Note: ve-et-hal-le-hah (kaph pronounced ha [soft]), whereas in the third word, kee, it is pronounced hard because of the dagesh.
