I Corinthians 7 26 I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.1 In verse 25, the word virgins is used in the plural; however, the masculine gender “man” is used in the Greek in this verse. It is good for a man to be a virgin and not married. So, as we will see in the following verses, he is discussing the subject of virginity for specifically both, female and male.
