I Corinthians 7 7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.1 The Apostle Paul was unmarried and not desiring to unite with a woman. He thought it would be better for other people to be single as himself and he acknowledged that God had provided a gift to him to be single.
