They were deposed due to desecration (Ezra 2:62): “yegoahlu”, from “… vayegoahlu… ”, my paraphrase and transliteration. (Brown et al. p. 146)

Today, in modern Israel, there cannot anyone be found with Hebrew patrilineal succession, no priests with the required genealogy, and the children of the occupiers of the land are more mixed and far genealogically distant without register than those of the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai. The word, “יְגֹאֲל֖וּwithout the vav-conjunction “and” (Unicode/XML Leningrad Codex, Ezra 2.62), which I respectively translate and transliterate as “they were polluted,“yegoahlu (Unicode/XML Leningrad Codex, Ezra 2.62), reveals even those once related to the priesthood were not considered clean due to miscegenation and the desecration of their pedigree and were unable to perform ceremonial work as a member of their former family. The modern “Jewish”, having no register and from two millennia of generations are much further from acceptable registration than the rejected ones of Ezra 2:62. They cannot produce a legitimate priest (cohen) and do not have a Hebrew, patrilineal gene pool. They can never regenerate one. Therefore, hypothetically and eschatologically, they are genealogically ineligible to produce a Hebrew messiah; nevertheless, they propose a messiah of their own that shall come. They ignore the prophet mentioned by Moses when he spoke to the Hebrews in Dt. 18: 15, which we know has already come—the Lord Jesus Christ, who had patrilineal succession and register (Mt. 1.16, Luke 3.23), something that their proposed messiah-to-come cannot have.
