Understanding God's law and that remarriage is not permissible in the New Testament would have prevented people from promoting the work of adultery through heretical musical entertainers. Have you ever noticed how easily people are amused by pianists, guitarists and singers? Some will sit and watch irreligious entertainment for hours, even if they have other things they should be doing, not realizing they are giving time to things that oppose God's institution of marriage and righteousness. Many of the big-time, erring “tithe” and donation receivers among the heretical church today have been skilled musicians. Mr. Kenneth Copeland was a singer and made records before he began to work with Mr. Oral Roberts. Mr. Jimmy Swaggart was a pianist. Jerry Lee Lewis, a relative of Swaggart, probably could never have received donations like Mr. Swaggart because he did not mix a facade of churchiosity with his music. Nevertheless, he had a great non-church audience. However, he probably never collected near the money Mr. Swaggart did! Sometimes the false-church stands more for Satan than the uninterested and even admitted non-Christians. Music is great, edification entertainment if it is used to glorify God. King David, loved to mix music with his psalms. It is a great way of expressing our gratitude to God. Our children should be taught music. Perhaps, if our children learned Godly music, it would help them spend their time in respect of worship to a greater extent. If we had more musicians that were willing to work with their own hands and with integrity to serve God, the churchiosity fakes may not be so attractive to their spiritually sleepy and unlearned audiences, who seem willing to enrich the undeserving but scarcely help the truly deserving. Teresa Stair, Ralph's last wife, sang the words “the king is coming” in an awesome, enthusiastic way and was very introductory to Ralph's preaching. She was a music student at a college formerly. As Ralph did not divulge his previous marriage and divorce very openly, he kept his audience in suspense about questionable things of his personal life. Mr. Donnie Swaggart, Mr. Jimmy and Frances Swaggart's son, likewise, is not very expressive of his present status and past with women. Both fornicators have been exposed now, and they will not be able to hold on to all of their once followers: The faithful are arising out of the suppressed media to some extent and the erring are being reproved. Music can be a way of teaching. Expression of Godly words and ideas through song is an art that can enhance our outreach. Let us be more available to our youth through offering music classes even in our homes if necessary. Perhaps in the future, we can see purity, gladness and hope instead of deceived crowds with disillusion and disappointment. We can eventually see happiness instead of grief. Glory be to God. Amen.
