Mr. Donnie Swaggart Disregard of Virginity Requirement Error

This is my critique of Mr. Donnie Swaggart and his mother's program Frances and Friends: Speaking in Tongues. Note that Donnie has been reportedly legally married several times. One of his wives (Judy) had been legally married several times also. So, Donnie may know quite a lot about legalizing a fornication-marriage, but he doesn't follow the standard for biblical marriage.

At approximately 1 hour, 6 minutes and 15 seconds on the timeline (as of June 2, 2013), Frances and Mr. Donnie Swaggart really blow it! God cannot justify a vow of legalized fornication. They start talking about marriage contract, not Ex 22, and Dt 22.

Many Americans are looking for legality without biblical moral. By the way, Mr. Donnie Swaggart has been reported as a legally (“it takes 5 minutes”), remarried pastor. Even if this is so, I have no idea whether his first or second legal marriage was based on the premise of virginity. A man that knows how to teach marriage principles and has an acceptable marriage to God would be glad to present and make transparent the personal, cleanliness principles of his marriage to an audience and to the public. Being open about the female virginity prerequisite and male monogamy is expected.

According to the defiled circumstances of adultery or fornication, he doesn't even have the credentials of a decent Christian, let alone what a righteous minister should have. It makes me sick to hear him on his videos say he is going to preach somewhere as if he is a clean messenger from God with a healing message and life that would invite purity and holiness when he lives likes a “Philistine” (a person with a religion of choice rather than respect of God's commandment of Exodus 20:14). He has a contra-cultural, contra-religious problem that destroys the theological and psychological insight of the young, the innocent, the unlearned people and communities, recognized by the upright as the sin of adultery (hypothetically considering his first marriage was a biblical marriage and not legalized fornication). Our modern, apostate and pleasure-loving, heretical so called “preachers” puking their anti-Christianity of divorce (don't confuse this with righteous and correctional annulment) and marrying again in deed are an abomination. He should first get more knowledge concerning God's law (Psalm 1) and a life that is acceptable to God, not live merely in self-righteous legality and promote sexual disobedience and the damnation of hell with it! No adulterer shall inherit the kingdom of God (Gal. 5:19-21).

My message of God to Mr. Donnie Swaggart or any other deceived minister would be: Learn (don't lean to your own understanding) what the Bible says about marriage. Repent; annul any fornication relationship or illegitimate marriage if necessary; clean up spiritually, live a single life if necessary; then go confess and preach some place.

We ministers (the whole body of Christ) of God today have an obligation as Abraham to protect our service and keep our duties through Godly moral and ethic (especially keeping God's people pure—one another) today. The New Testament says “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1) See verses 2-21 also. You can't have a holy body if you sleep in adultery or fornication. You can't walk in unholy living and expect God not to see your life in the bedroom or with a person you have no business being with. Hypocrites and perverts of God's word can't fool God's elect if they seek Him—He won't allow it! And if anyone denies the King James Bible doesn't teach that, I call them a liar. “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (I Peter 2:5)

Our church buildings have taken up space on the ground but the people have not learned for the women to be chaste and the men not to be NWO puppets. Neither have many of the people learned Biblical Hebrew or Greek at their church buildings. It would be better to invest in small community training than to leave a will to a church that won't follow Biblical commandments and prosper your posterity.

I personally wish students of the Bible would search more profoundly on issues rather than listening to relatively biased or unlearned evangelists who do not work with their hands for their sustenance. I have a question that I would like to ask you. Have you ever thought about where the money goes that you give to a religious organization? Could it possibly support an unfaithful minister and an illicit relationship or misleading doctrine? Many of the mainstream church leaders need to repent and be theologically re-trained. There is only one church, you do not have to join a denomination. Give your time studying the Bible and God will show you how to support the ministry of God. If you believe in Jesus, you are part of it.

I can weep when I see the innocent destroyed. I can weep when I see the guilty destroyed—they might have had a chance to change before it was too late if they had only prepared. When I look at the guilt-bearing eyes and faces of some the short-haired, women not wearing a hat with their faces all made up but smiling at music-playing, shaking and moving preachers at wolf-like collection gatherings it depresses me. I don't admire their show men or leaders at all, nor the foolishness, admiration and misdirected gratuity of their supporters. Amen. When I see people act like fools without turning from their sins going to their grave, I can take no pleasure in it. It makes me wonder even more when I see they want to play church but still don't want to change for God.

Take for instance a natural situation: If you go to buy a car and the sales person tells you that the car is great but you find out the car's engine misses, its seats are worn out, and you feel every rock in the road as you drive it, then you would realize that the sales person has stretched the circumstances and exaggerated, or simply he has left some important things out that you have expected him to tell you. Actually, you may decide the guy is a plain out liar. You would be on the alert about this sales deal because of the way the situation has been handled. Things just didn't match up. Well, it works the same way in spiritual things, when you hear a man preach and move all over the stage and shout with joy, weep with sorrow, play the piano like a star, you may think the guy has got a good thing going. But later, when you examine his life and works, his teaching and condonation of legalized adultery, then you can realize what he says doesn't match up to what it should be. If you are wise, you would get out of that congregation and leave that rocky road life presentation to keep your own life from running off the cliff.

It is great to get excited about God. I wish everyone would. And you would expect this from a person following Jesus, even a novice. However, when you see a man get up on a stage and express himself as one deeply touched by God but then never make necessary changes in his life (even through his words and teachings), it makes the spiritually knowledgeable aware. It makes me want to stay away from that person if I can't help him repent. But the spotlight on his audience demonstrates people enjoying his delivery, if they are not first-timers then they must be lost or not awakened, spiritual weaklings, not spiritual men and women. A righteous man or woman would not promote hypocrisy or continual ignorance and theological bigotry. I certainly don't view things as the world or the popularity media does. I disagree with CNN's Camp investigation as the narrator assessed Mr. Jimmy Swaggart as “one of America's most dynamic preachers”.

Mr. Jimmy Swaggart was not and still isn't relatively a knowledgeable man of the Bible. He and his family's poor if not incorrect interpretations and doctrines have attested to it. When Mr. Jimmy Swaggart committed his sexual stunt with the red-light whore and got caught, it was easy for people to realize he wasn't living as a man of God. If he had divorced Frances and married the sex beauty, which would have legalized it, would that make it right? Of course not. Neither can anyone else commit fornication or adultery and make it right by legalizing it, including his son Mr. Donnie Swaggart. Strong men and women in Christ look further than a stage presentation. If a man doesn't preach what God says, then he isn't really preaching for God! Mr. Donnie Swaggart, Mr. Jimmy Swaggart's son, is not a dynamic preacher of God either.

If you will notice, Francis said to the effect that they don't observe the dowry in America. She is right to an extent on that statement. Most don't. However, the Scripture tells us not to be like the heathen and take up their practices. We are not supposed to ignore the biblical law concerning virginity and prospect of marriage because of it just because somebody can go down town and remarry and get a government license to legalize their error. (Even sinful pastors do it!)

Biblical marriage or female singleness under undesirable conditions is determined by the father of the daughter to be given, not by the daughter or boyfriend! Sexual intercourse precipitates a decision in some cases.

In our day, many women have suffered physical defilement and on top of that have been misdirected by their so-called pastors. Let me make a brief and safe point: If a woman has been directed to marry even while she is not chaste, she can have that illegitimate marriage annulled.

     It is illusory to think marriage is instituted by mere contract! Marriage is a physical sex act between a virgin female and a male (Ex. 22:16, Dt. 22:13-21, 28, 29)--biblical revelation. The virginity of a woman is proof of a woman's eligibility to marry--natural revelation. The male partner by either sharing or violating the virgin female's chastity becomes either a husband or a polygamist (although legally disallowed in many places), the latter sexual status is in contradiction to a new testament principle of monogamy (I Cor. 7:27). Nature and God's written word, natural and biblical revelation, harmonize as to the enlightenment of the essence of marriage and encourage the continuance of a chaste relationship.

     The once virgin female partner no longer has a justifiable opportunity to have sex with anyone else as long as her first male sex partner is alive--to do so would commit fornication. In the case of the female's first man dying, she would have a justifiable opportunity to date or marry someone else (Romans 7:1-3). Sexual experiences with men other than the first man (while he is living) defile the female and commence a degree of unchastity even if the first man were to die. Marriage is based upon the principle of unity ("one flesh" Gn. 2:24) and chastity.

    Now, on the other hand, divorce is a psychological-physical separation through commitment (I Cor. 7:10, 11): when the act of divorce is put in writing it becomes a public notice.

     So, considering the biblical facts concerning the essence of marriage and divorce, and the world-wide immoral sexual circumstances, there are probably many unregistered (unpublished) marriages (more so than are revealed by statistics, or spoken of) and divorces. Subsequently, due to the disregard of biblical precepts, many unregistered and registered forbidden, but legalized, marriages have resulted.
