Profile: Brother R.G. Stair

Super, short-wave radio, prophet but fornicator, Brother Ralph Stair, recently [some years ago now] was heard on a program mentioning at least some of his opponents as "pipsqueaks." (Although they may have lacked ability to purchase air time, I am sure that some of these men did have some theological perspectives that were in need of reproof too.) To get to the point, he referred to the small amount of time they were on the air. However, at one time Brother Stair did not have so much radio time himself as he does now. As a matter in fact, it is highly probable that if he had not condoned legalized adultery, he would not have received near the funding he has. This is just another example of how popularizing irreligion through the tolerance of sexual immorality (disobeying laws of the Old Testament) has brought financial results for heretics. He also has mixed legalism in other views (disregarding the fulfillment laws of the New Testament). However, to the loss of Brother Stair, God does not judge the person by how much radio time he can afford, but rather, by obedience. One of the things that makes Brother Stair so interesting is that he is definitely a very passionate, scratchy, high pitch, low pitch, voice-inflecting, partial, non-conformist. He does not agree with the way this world does things, and on many counts he is admirable on that part. Most people, even though they are not really willing to totally change the way they live, do acknowledge that the things going on in the world are horrible. Therefore, they are deterred and not interested in paganism, but they are not interested in straight-out piety either. They like a "religion" or heresy that will allow their own life style and some righteous thought too. At times in his messages Brother Stair has mentioned his former woman by whom he had children. Now, singing Teresa, a previous more-than-one-man woman whom he lives with, even admitted on the air that she lost her virginity at sixteen years old and to the effect after an unsatisfied teenhood she was not chaste when she committed remarriage with him. By the way, ex-Roman Catholic women who disregard God's chastity laws (Dt. 22) do not become chaste by denouncing a failing denomination. Bro. Stair is a typical example of a fornicating, free-rider pastor. He has misused other people, their work, time and money. May God convict so many poor, deceived people. May the Lord also protect the innocent from such immoral men and organizations to the effect they will not be misled and perverted from the way of chastity so as they may have a chance to live happily, God-approved, married lives. Amen. Stair's popularity was not only due to his tolerance of adultery, but his tolerance of miscegenation also. Since WW II this nation has declined in morality. Integration began to replace co-existence or segregation. One of the audience thrillers or puffs that he uses at times is to speak evil of the Nazi regime -- actually a "positive Christianity" regime, which was much more comparatively moral in the aspect of cultural and racial homogeneity than its opposition. (By the way, post-Babylonian—non-Ezran Israel is using very similar cultural homogeneity protective-isolation-principles today against the Palestinians and others.) Stair has also been known to be a Hollywood holocaust version and goy-Jew sympathizer, at least to some extent. Now let's look at the situation in depth from a biblical-principle-perspective concerning whether a relationship is marriage or not marriage. Brother Stair was formerly married. Whether the marriage was reverently based on acceptability to God according to the principle of female virginity, I have no information. Also, whether Stair had previously performed sex with any unmentioned virgins, I do not know. However, supposing it was an uncomplicated marriage and not an act of polygamy or adultery of Brother Stair, then he still had no biblical right to remarry to Teresa after being divorced by Geraldine, his former wife. Now, on the other hand, if Stair's first relationship with the woman who divorced him was not based on the virginity (chastity) principle, then it was an act of fornication and not a real marriage. Again, I have no information that this was the case. I am merely looking at the situation hypothetically. Even if this were the case, Brother Stair would still not be permitted to marry Teresa because of her defilement and not being a virgin. Therefore, Stair's relationship with Teresa is not acceptable. It would have been more righteous of Ralph Stair to have separated from his foolish, anti-biblical relationship with his woman and live quietly than all his years of preaching while living in nonrepentance, fornication and uncleanness. Actually, if the Stairite community wanted to rid the camp from its sin of fornication, they would have to move Ralph and Teresa into separate housing and keep them from coming together. This is one of the major problems in the world today -- even people proclaiming the things of God, and others, are not living and doing things with respect and according to God's principles. We live in a grab-and-consume, ignorant, mocking, egotistical, money-loving, sex-aggravated, worldly society, among people who grab and consume to fill their fleshly and ungodly desires. Many are conceited in how much material value they possess or how much materialistic power they wield (unlasting things), imposing their unconcerned-toward-God's-principles activities of ignorance or oppression upon the innocent that calamitously may have to live around them. Beware and separate yourself from such! God's people must endure for Christ's sake; and, if possible, we must deliver others from the traps of our adversaries. We must make people aware of deceivers, gainsayers and the doctrine of demons. We must enlighten them so as they will not be an easy prey. Many misled people today support such wicked men instead of helping ministries that strive for Godliness. Nevertheless, even if God's faithful who promote holiness with gravity, such as the Hesedken Site and those who follow chastity and purity, are not being supported by the masses in these apostate times, this is nothing new. Noah did not have a large following. Elijah did not have a large following at times. Furthermore, not all of God's great people have been well-knowns. Regardless, be not too discouraged, God will make a way for his saints to fulfill his commands. Praise the Lord! Fundamentally, from a synoptical viewpoint, there are two distinct acts, the one subsequent to the other, which constitute adultery. The first act is a sin of "putting away" because the Scripture says the husband "shall cleave to his wife" (Gn. 2:24); and also, that no one should separate what God has yoked together (Mk. 10:9)--"one flesh" (Gn. 2:24). The second sinful act, "marry another," is subsequent to the first. It also contradicts I Cor. 7:10, 11. Whenever a man puts away a woman, he separates a unified entity which God has joined together. This act in itself does not constitute adultery. However, afterward, if he should marry, he commits adultery against her (Mk. 10:11, Lk. 16:18). Also, if a woman should put away her husband and marry another man, she commits adultery ( Mk. 10:12). Any man who marries her that is put away from her husband commits adultery (Lk. 16:18). Ralph
