ELVIS PRESLEY, BRUCE JENNER AND LINDA THOMPSON SOUTHERN BAPTIST FORNICATION EXAMPLE Linda Thompson said she gave her virginity to Elvis Presley. (See the interview linked also at the bottom of the page.) She had survived several years of college without losing her chastity but then compromised with a man who had a child by another woman! What kind of religious logic is that! It is admirable for a woman to maintain chastity, which is biblically required for marriage. However, many women possessing religious commendation seem to fail to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and fall away from good and moral, biblical training. The Southern Baptist church has some good things of course, but heretical as it may be, it tolerates the sin of remarriage and fornication. Due to this, many of its members and followers do not have the theological reasoning (including adherence unto righteousness and recognition of natural and spiritual revelation) to avoid sexual catastrophe. She ignored her natural and cognitive loss of virginity so as to defy written commandment by choosing to have sex with another man while her first man was still alive. She eventually remarried to a famous athlete and Olympian separated from a woman but with children, Bruce Jenner (now an outspoken transgenderite). She (Linda) even condoned through demonic progression, supported and covered-up his abnormal will (against nature—Romans 1: 26) with false justification and excuse of forgiveness. Forgiveness is always necessary to avoid self-destruction due to hate toward an offense. However, forgiveness does not demand approval, nor in itself does it establish sanctity or set forth righteousness such as the law (Torah) does. It does not hinder in making good judgment (I Cor. 6:2). God is a forgiving God, but he does never void his commandments for the sake of forgiving. The Ten Commandments are still for our direction. He still and always requires righteousness and never condones sin. God does not condone remarriage, fornication, or any deviation from his set order merely because he is a merciful and forgiving God to those who ask forgiveness from him with sincerity. |
