Hurricane Irma: If Florida could repent of its lack of love for God, invasive diversity multiplication and disrespect (Affimative Action) against founder sovereignty (biblical institutions), fornication (including sodomy, remarriage, illicit sex), drug abuse, abortion, other sins and things defiling the land, there could possibly be a chance of God turning away the storm. It doesn't look like the people have the humility and grace to do so.

God has the power to take care of his own (those that turn away from sin, believe and follow him), including in times of wind and flood danger, and in the midst of adversaries. He has the power and love to make the human soul rest with confidence in his providence. He is salvation (Jesus), the one who can deliver. The only ones he cannot help are those who do not look unto him for their needs.

Mark 4:38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
