Tim Tebow: Our Great Christian Ministers, Are They Worthy Of Local Church Official Qualification
I have been trying to think of some young men worthy of being local church officials. For example, Tim Tebow seems to have great qualifications as a local church official as far as I know but I do not know his written thoughts on marriage eligibiltiy. The church must conform to the outline of Timothy and Titus. Marriage and family is a basic foundation of a community. The institution is related to the mystery of Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:25). The church leadership must be able to morally guide individual, community and society. Its officials must be worthy. The body of Christ needs to found worthy, local churches.
However, all things that may be considered beyond reproach must be considered. Ministers must have the moral ability to discern the difference between clean and unclean, and especially the abominable (Dt. 24:4). The confused and unworthy churches that have condoned and promoted sexual defilement have worked wih Satan so as to cause the land to sin (Dt. 24:4) and prevent true prosperity of the church. They have preached a false gospel.
So, looking into an individual that may acceptable to a worthy church, first, I have to check for male virginity before marriage. The only two things that I haven't examined already that I can think of against Tim that would be questionable would be wife modesty (“faithful in all things” I Timothy 3:11, KJV) and commercializing the Christian message, which of course, the apostles never did. Recently, I saw his wife very well covered. If she no longer does shows in a bathing suit, I do not think further investigation into that area is necessary. However, not only are many ministers not able or ready to be qualified, but I know of no churches that uphold the early church standards. We of the latter times church in the apostasy need to start working on this and re-establishing a worthy, local church.
Of course, we can't merely depend on Tim Tebow. We must encourage youth who have not defiled themselves to plan to serve God and the ministry of local church leadership. Our nation and communities have fallen because the churches have become polluted and cannot discern between clean and unclean.
