Requirements of a Deacon

Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.(I Timothy 3:11, KJV)

The deacon is a family man and servant/minister/table server of the local church, relatively under the theological authority of the overseer. He must keep his wife under Godly control. He should be loving of course, and circumspectual, so as not to be a cajoled or hen-pecked push-over who allows his woman to parade or hide a nakedness (uncleanness).

7. His wife must be grave. She must be a woman that lives a life that draws respect and reverence from people. Ruth was such a woman. Even though she came from a wicked people, she devoted herself to God and his people rather than remaining with unbelievers. She learned and lived by Godly standards (although actually her Hebrew husband Boaz did not fully acquiesce to the Hebrew inheritance law of Numbers 36:5-13).

8. His wife must not be a slanderer. Satan, an accuser of the brethren, is a slanderer. The wife of a deacon should be truthful and avoid anything that may falsely damage the reputation of someone. Many non-whites in America slander the white for attempting to promote the homogeneity of his Japhethic subrace. Remember the virtue and personality of Sarah.

9. His wife must be sober. She must not be an alcohol, drug or marijuana misuser. I don't think taking a little wine for medical purposes (I Ti. 5:23) would be wrong as long as she doesn't have a history of addiction, but she should not over-do it either. She must be clear-headed and self-possessed. Of course it would be a shame for someone to see her staggering or not having control—beware of lacers and who she keeps company with also.

10. His wife must be faithful in all things. She must understand the decree at the Council of Nicaea. She should possess the qualifications of a dowry bride, not being defiled.

Christian Community and Models

BEGINNING A LOCAL CHURCH
We must start churches that meet the requirements of God. We need faithful, clean couples, not men with defiled wives, to be able to serve as officers in the church. Since we are in the apostasy, it is even hard to find a church that can meet the requirements.

We must get out of the polluted congregations that will not repent of sexual uncleanness and begin our own congregations.

Overseers needed:

Deacons needed: See above.

The best way that I can think of to establish clean churches is to establish communities in order to raise the children to be sexually clean, so they honorably marry and have the sexual cleanliness attribute so as to meet the requirement to serve as ministers.
