Moral parents raise their children to be respectful of others, not to be bullies. The mother of Samuel looked unto God before, during and after her pregnancy. She raised him in respect of God. We need Christian women to raise children that can be without reproach and that can lead the local church.

"Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men." (1 Thess. 5:14, 15)

You can't have a peaceful community if you do not have men that will honor God, fidelity and his marriage institution. You could have a false peace at best, not true peace. Community must be built upon abiding in God's love, parents teaching the children the correct way from their crib.

Investing in personal change doesn't take money from outside the community, it takes moral development from within the human, investing in good things such as bible study and self improvement while taking from the desires of the flesh, staying away from fornication, adultery (Galatians 5:19). It prevents single-parent families.

When government allows and promotes wickedness, especially by supporting having children out of wedlock, it promotes loving of comfort (as Abraham Lincoln mentioned) and parasitism, making the taxpayer an enabler, not a leader of morality, which every person should be. Parents or single mothers who choose to do right may realize home schooling may be a necessity, not merely a choice.
