ZION IS A BEAUTIFUL WORD

Zion is a place of God's interest and concern:

Isaiah 62:1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

Zion is implied as a place known of God's righteousness and pleasure, a righteousness that only He can bring.

Isaiah 52: 8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.

Zion is a holy hill:

Psalm 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Zion is the prophetic place where the law shall go forth and people will learn farming and peace concepts, replacing war and destruction design:

Isaiah 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

This does not seem to be speaking of current, modern Israel, which has been at war with its neighbors since WW II. Israel has very sophisticated weapons, and they are still working on their offense and defense systems. Recently, Israel retaliated against Gaza, killing and harming many people. It is hated by Islamic people near and afar. Muslims and their advocates unrighteously even claim part of Jerusalem. World political leaders are discussing the determination of the borders of Israel in disregard to Biblical precepts.

Zion is the place where people learn judgment of the Lord, strong nations afar off will be rebuked, men will be able to enjoy their agriculture without fear of a nation attacking them:

Micah 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

BEWARE OF CONFUSION OF ZIONISM WITH HERZL MATRILINEALISM AND MISUSE

Beware of how some people mention the word “Zion” and its suffixal forms Zionism and Zionist. It is misused many times. For instance, some people have falsely regarded and implied Herzlist and duped Hagee as a Christian teacher, who condones the racial and cultural status quo of Israel. (Even Neturei Karta are against Herzlism.) Hagee is a wicked and deceived man and errs in eschatology and other aspects of theology also. Regardless of heretics and followers, Herzl himself was not even a Jew/Hebrew, nor a faithful believer¹ in the torah; his personality obviated the character of a true Zionist! Nevertheless, he is regarded as a visionary² of the modern state of Israel.

Others that do not knowingly support Herzl fall into the heresy of accepting mongrel-Jewish culture as an equivalent of genetic race of Israel and divert the simple. Sammy Davis, Jr., as well as many other Hollywood converts, erringly even called himself a Jew merely through his conversion experience... in direct opposition to Numbers 36:6. Such people can never be genetically or genealogically equated with the twelve tribes, including Judah, mentioned in James 1:1.
