Prophets
keep the people in line with God's written word. John the
Baptist was faithful, even unto death. He upheld sexual
morality and posterity
even against the ruler of the people.
Therefore, a female led
by God to prophesy would be expected to honor the same morality
standards as the prophet.
The Apostle Paul taught
us as to decency and order in the assembly, how women are not
to teach men in the assembly. A covering
is expected to be worn when a woman prophesies, and of course,
the prophetess should have no continuing fornication
or sin in her life. How could a woman expect to give you a
faithful message of God if she can't keep her personal life and
body faithful!
We are in need of
restoration of the school
of prophets.
