Kathrine Kuhlman VS Spiritual Church Kathrine Kuhlman did things her way. She defied assembly ethics and sometimes Biblical moral. However, she gathered large audiences. This may have been a sign of the depravity of the times (through the weakness of men attending her gatherings). I remember reading one of her books, which was very strict and impressive in a way, but I am not sure how much of the book was her own ideas. She did not respect the rule of women not teaching in the assembly. She was part of the 20th century movement to override male prominence, dignity and spirituality in the church as she ignored the former good tradition. (Although, male education and teaching may have lacked and could have been much better!) USA politics previously and during that time had been directed through foreign influence, for example, the Fed Bank. America was suffering antiChristian infiltration, political disorder and lack of Christian leadership (apostasy). The country had been torn in shambles by the Civil War. Many of the more learned men on both sides were lost and the leadership of the nation suffered. Anti-American immigrants became insiders in our government in a matter of time. It is said that the country was brought into WW I without a cause. America did not have the spiritual or political leadership it so badly needed, and the fall of the spiritual church was about to begin. So this left an opening for ignorant and daring women to take advantage of the situation as the church began to show its lacking also. It is fine for women to teach other women and children, but not men. Since America's spiritual (male authority) falling away (although theological and scientific advancement in some areas may have occurred--unknowns were able to be heard world-wide), family and national values became distorted: dispossession, adultery, unnecessary violence and brutality, wars, hedonism, diversity, abortions, same sex, and threat of global government developed. Millions have been destroyed needlessly and much more destruction is about to come. Aimee Semple McPherson preceded Kuhlman in holding large gatherings. Evidently, Kuhlman must have had more flash than integrity concerning morality when she married a divorced1 man. I am astonished at that report. I do not know whether she was defiled or lost her chastity or not through seemingly an infatuated grab or whether it was a continuous affair, but the act in itself was condemned. The adulterous relationship did not last. A lesson to be learned is rather than studying to show themselves approved (2 Tim 2:15) unto God, many erring men will religiously follow women as they have female evangelists in the past. On the other hand, a spiritual man that promotes Torah precepts, new covenant fulfillment, faithful marriage, Hebrew, not Jewish succession, male teaching and church order may have a hard way to go in this country, and without a large following. Whether we have large audiences or not, a place to sleep or not, a spouse or not, let us be spiritual men, strong in doctrine, and fight the good fight of faith! Amen.
