Religious cults can be recognized by usually at least two things: non-monogamous marital condonation and eschatological error. Islam is a great example of this as Muslims do not follow the biblical marriage laws nor even hold the biblical books as authoritative. The victims of their general irreligion and lifestyle suffer deception and sin, maybe without recognizing it as such.

John Hagee, now married to another woman -- fornication or adultery, is an unlearned and foolish preacher. Don't confuse heretical (artificial) Zionists with Christian Zionists.
Hagee is an erring false-Israel supporting heretic. He, like now passed Marcus Lamb who also at least partially admitted his romantic affair as wrong, has both of the symptoms of a cult heretic. One woman has not been enough for either. Both have predicted a pre-trib rapture.
Similarly, some of the Mormon cult as well as the Jewish also are very easy to recognize by their volumes of erroneous explanations on more-than-one-wife and things about the coming of the messiah. Some of their members have exhibited horrific deeds by taking things into their own destructive hands. Brian Mitchell was a rapist instead of a faithful prophet, and Ben Gurion was a terrorist immigrant proselyte instead of a Hebrew heir.
Nevertheless, America, founded as a Christian nation, has suffered teachings and propaganda of the cults even as Islamic and Jewish nations. Much of the sexual and eschatological heresy could have been prevented through diligent, ancient language study. Harvard, Yale and other high ranking schools are nothing like they were before the US became mixed with non-Northern-Europeans and apostatized. Riots and violent protests have become almost a norm. Our Congress and judicial courts are corrupt and do not have the Biblical learning and knowledge to discern right from wrong. Similarly, in Arabic and Mideastern countries their officials fail a high, Biblical level of discernment. Our leaders fail understanding Godly law.
It is sad that America has such anti-patriotic and subverted men as teachers, especially of the Bible. Martin Luther specifically warned against sharing the abomination of those who reject our Lord Jesus. Hagee is a a stereotype example of the men who propose themselves to be men of God, who have crippled American fathers and mothers, and their children with unlearned whim. How foolish to try to unite Christians with Christ-haters! How foolish to proclaim modern Judaism (non-Hebrew proselytes) as ancient Judaism!
Erring even as Dr. David Duke (rightfully recognizing the ill mannerisms of the Jewish but not a self-hater), self-hating Hagee does not righteously and genetically differentiate between the ancient Jew and the Joo. Munther Isaac notices a difference but fails to understand patrilineal law (Nu. 36:5-13) and the rightful possession of the land. Even though the ten tribes were found and became extinct as all of the Hebrew tribes, Hagee has seemingly been deceived by the Talmudicist future-return myth, which in essence would make anti-Christians part of the restoration instead of Christians.
Although instead of denouncing, he commends and attempts to promote support for the Jewish/antiChristian. The man is an abomination. He defies the Godly warning of our heroic, theologian Martin Luther. Let us remember the advice of the patriotic, Jewish defector Benjamin Freedman to the effect not to go to war for Israel. God forbid!

It seems as if the US has been overtaken by the Jewish cult as Elizabeth Smart was overtaken by Brian Mitchell. Our country was raped with usury and the Federal Reserve Bank and the people were not able to do anything about it. Since then, we've learned the ideas of our captor and had to live with its vicious war escapades, unGodly desires and whims. There seems to be no escape, and no one can deliver us unless we are found. Sadly, our politicians don't have the intelligence or the patriotic ability to find and deliver us. Benjamin Mileikowsky (Netanyahu) tells us to go gay and Brian Mitchell tells us to repent.
