THERE IS NO
“RAPTURE”/3RD RESURRECTION, Paul comforted the people in v. 13 about those who “sleep”, referring to the loved and missed ones of the people that have died and passed away. There is a great misconception and heresy going on today! The unlearned and perhaps lower IQ people are proclaiming things that they don't understand and are not true. They are becoming false witnesses. They are contradicting the Apostle Paul when they speak of a rapture before the time the dead are raised. Since man has to die, man has to be resurrected (see Hebrews 11:39, 40), to realize his perfect form (I Cor. 13:10), to live with Christ. (See I Corinthians 15: 12-34.) Now, let's go to what Paul says to the Thessalonians: Τοῦτο γὰρ ὑμῖν λέγομεν ἐν λόγῳ κυρίου, ὅτι ἡμεῖς οἱ ζῶντες οἱ περιλειπόμενοι εἰς τὴν παρουσίαν τοῦ κυρίου οὐ μὴ φθάσωμεν τοὺς κοιμηθέντας: (Westcott and Hort, 1 Th. 4.15) My paraphrastic translation, “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are living, who are left remaining unto the coming of the Lord, by no means should attain before those who have died.” (Westcott and Hort, 1 Th. 4.15) This study on comforting the grieving of their lost and the chronological gathering of God's people with the Lord in comparison with afterlife of the dead did not come by Paul and group consensus, it came by the “word of the Lord”. (v. 15) I transliterate part of I Th. 4:15, “... ou ma phthasomen tous koimathentas” (Westcott and Hort, 1 Th. 4.15), and paraphrastically translate, “… by no means should attain before those who have died.” (Westcott and Hort, 1 Th. 4.15). The dead must “rise first” (KJV, 1 Th. 4.16) before, according to my paraphrastic translation, “we who are living, who are left remaining unto the coming of the Lord”. (Westcott and Hort, 1 Th. 4.15) However, contrary to the Scripture, the deceived and deceivers are predicting a different or 3rd resurrection-like event/ “rapture” only in the form of an alive collective body being raised up before the great tribulation. That is not the timeline (1 Th. 4.15) that the Lord gives us by the Apostle Paul. The Bible speaks of only two resurrections in verse I Cor. 15: 23: the “firstfruits” (people who lived as far back as the early church) and “afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.” Paul spoke of divine justice and chronological order as to the fulfillment of the hope of believers having life beyond earth. I know of no alive collective body anastasis (rising up) to “meet the Lord in the air” (KJV, I Thessalonians 4.17) except at the end , at Christ's coming: “14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (I Thessalonians, chapter 4) The Greek word for resurrection is anastasis. It means a rising up, and in I Cor. 15:12, specifically from the dead. It is used in Paul's chapter 15 ideology as when a person has died, then has raised up or is going to be raised up from death, not raised up while living except at the end (mentioned above: I Thessalonians 4:17). The Apostle Paul also told us in 2 Th. 2:1-17 that the anti-Christ appearing in the temple must come first before the Lord appears. Therefore, chronologically, anyone raised up to meet the Lord while living will have to see the anti-Christ first because the impostor will be revealed before the Lord destroys him. The coming of Christ will be one of the last things, so plan on seeing great tribulation if you plan to meet Jesus alive. See Joel 2:31, 32. Even after Christians meeting him in the air, the Lord Jesus Christ must reign on earth. (I Cor. 15.24-28) Thy kingdom come, amen. |

Jewish Hebrew-Replacement Theology And Myth Remarriage and repentance was argued over a century ago in the USA. In the early 1900's people were still conflicted by judicial courts and unknowledgeable preachers. The legal and political atmosphere concerning marital purity and body cleanliness became more loose. In the 50's, Billy Graham and Oral Roberts became famous as to evangelism and healing but both became heretics. They both condoned and promoted remarriage. Graham had an influence on David Wilkerson, and Roberts on Kenneth Copeland. Pat Robertson and John MacArthur followed suit more blatantly with their own ideas of acceptable fornication and remarriage. Unchaste women who legally marry merely extend their fornication; they are not sanctified. Of course, no form of immorality whether fornication or adultery is acceptable. Jesus Christ restored monogamy and purity as it was with Adam and Eve. Today, we have conflicts with homosexuality and polyandry in the mainstream churches. The people have become so beaten up with perfidious, theological propaganda that they have become insensitive and don't critique the lies that are poured upon them. Children have been raised up in a biblically ignorant world, even though they have been hammered with the sacraments excuses and protestant heresies. You must search the Scriptures for yourself. As you may notice in 1 Th. 4:3, the Apostle Paul let's us know that we should “abstain from fornication”. God wants us to sanctify ourselves as we follow his commandments and grow in him. However, as I explained above concerning the same chapter of the chronology of the rising up of the dead and the living at the resurrection, many of those who are as false witnesses and teach a pre-trib rapture also have defiled marriages. You tell a Christian by his fruit. When you pick a watermelon, you don't pick one with a rotten and soft side, so much that your fingers could poke a whole through it. No, you look for a good watermelon, one that has at least a firm wall. There are many ways to extend your observation with knowing how to test other things. However, back to the fruit of a Christian, you can see his good works and faith in the things he does. Nevertheless, just as a bad watermelon with a rotten side, you can easily observe and tell a rotten Christian if he is living in remarriage or fornication, and you may be forewarned by his condoning, preaching and teaching such false things. Many of these rotten ones are the ones promoting the false eschatology also. Nevertheless, there is still time to repent! |
