“But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” (1 Ti. 3:15, KJV) See Titus 1:5:9.

NON-LOCAL
CHURCH MINISTRY Many repentant Christians can't qualify as an official of a local church as Timothy and Titus. However, they can still have their own ministries but they must follow the guidelines of the local church (as established by Timothy and Titus) or else they would be considered heretical. They must be transparent about biblical marriage and other things in question. For instance, if any man has had more than one wife through divorce or other means, such a one must prove his wife is a legitimate, biblical wife. If he fails the transparency test, he and any self-proclaiming church that honors him should be regarded with suspicion and avoidance. Men such as Perry Stone fail this early church precept of biblical marriage in an intellectual way. If they can't prove that they understand the Scriptures concerning the concept of pure marriage (as Adam and Eve), and erringly hold a remarriage/adultery heresy as Mr. Stone, then they can't help other people understand necessary truth either. Remember how anti-Christianity and Islam took over Eurasia. Such men are not ready for Communion, let alone to lead. We must not allow God's people to be deceived by such phonies. You can't promote or live in fornication or adultery (Galatians 5:19-21) and be a true teacher or minister of God. Truly repentant men of such circumstances would annul an illegitimate marriage even against his fleshly desire for the sake of righteousness. Only in a case such as Matthew 19:9 would a male be excepted so as to marry another woman having a chaste history; defiled females would not have an opportunity for marriage. The bigger problem, I know of no acceptable local churches today and only few prospective men with capability and qualification to be an official. We must test and develop such virgin-before-marriage men. Hopefully, such prospects will agree and make known their desire to apply as such with manifest disagreement to just-any-man as an official of the “... church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”
