So, when studying the Bible, and learning about the Hebrew people (God's former, chosen people), you will need to overcome the lack of helpful, learning material and learn how to determine Hebrew genetics (from patrilineal succession) as prescribed by Moses. There is a great difference between a Jew (a person of the Hebrew race) and a Jewish person (a person that would like to be considered as a Hebrew but can't genetically qualify—generally a want-to-be). Yes, many Jewish people have a disinheriting (see the Covenant of Ezra), genetic identity problem.
The Hebrew people (Jews) that did not return from Babylon lost their inheritance. Other Hebrew descendants after the return from the captivity and the Covenant at Ezra may have miscegenated. Seemingly to alleviate the loss of inheritance, a heresy started called matrilineal succession but it is not Biblical—no authority! Heretical teachings about this matter have deceived many people. Governments have even been deceived by the matrilineal heresy. Don't be another heresy victim because of lack of study. It is easy to learn the concept of patrilineal succession and Hebrew genetics.
