First of all, require two guarantors to fill the prerequisite of eligibility for marriage. Realize many Amish bishops do not follow the chastity rule of the Bible; they don't understand it. That is why they have passed off unchaste women to men, women who have had incest or experienced molestation in some form, girls or women who have received a previous sexual deposit and were not able to complete the marriage. At times, the defiled girl ends up eventually marrying some other man obviously without virginity and chastity, which is fornication.

Actually, I do not think the Amish have a good community due their fornication and lack of chastity discipline. Hypothetically, if a married man defiled the daughter of his neighbor, he must not be allowed to commit polygamy and take her for a second wife, which they do not promote or do openly.

RESTITUTION

However, he should be responsible for the expenses of a defiled virgin on account of his lust and provide for her having to live single as long as he lives because he can't marry her and she will be left unchaste. Then, if she marries someone else later, it is fornication when an unclean woman marries another man (Mt. 19:9).

Therefore, the rapist or seducer should have to pay her father a sum of money over time to keep the girl in good condition as to food, clothing and shelter for as long as he lives.

However, the Amish ministers seem to ignore the restitution and focus on a petty deterrent such as giving the rapist or seducer a mere six-week or ten-week ban (cheap-sex penalty) from the community. That is not sufficient.

BISHOP LACK OF VALUES AND JUDGMENT

When the bishop praises those under him who do not violate the horse and buggy rules but tolerates lack of life-time restitution, and promoting fornication and abuse so as to give the defiled woman to a cuck, it is time to re-think the values of the Amish doctrine. I do not blame men and women leaving their community for righteous reasons.

Jacob Ammon did not want to be like the world around him. The modern Amish bishops are not much different than Hollywood directors, lewd, profane and vile men, if they allow their men to lust and sexually injure without sufficient punishment, and afterward, their daughters to be given in immorality. They seem to have failed their mission.
