WHY AA IS NOT FOR A CHRISTIAN

A Christian has one and only one God. Jesus Christ is the savior of the Christian, actually of all men. The AA group looks unto a higher power as a part of its rules, but the higher power does not have to be specifically God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a sin to look unto something other than God and his son, Jesus, for spiritual help. Self-control comes from God and that is all that is needed to keep from being addicted to alcohol or any other substance (Galatians, chapter 5). You can tell the slave-master (the substance) that it is over. (Tit. 2:3) Yes, an addict can become an ex-addict. It's that simple.

[It is not use (something in an amount that is not harmful or in a proper manner), but misuse (abuse) that causes people problems. Some things should not even be eaten or swallowed: for instance, poisonous mushrooms. Whether psychological or physical dependence, or both, no one has to remain a slave to a substance if he makes a decision for Jesus as a Christian or a convert. A person may have to change his friends or living style, but he can live free from abuse even if he has to remain totally abstinent from the substance. Abuse can never be an acceptable substitute for God and his peace.]

A substance can become like a false god and its abuse can be worse than a disliked program. Even though the AA program is not recommended for successful, recovering alcohol ex-addicts, its attendance is better than being drunk or subservient to a substance (as a false god, under its control). Hence, there are no excuses for people not trying to rehabilitate themselves. Those with uncountable relapses are not listening. Now that I look back at it, that was my problem.

Light and darkness do not have fellowship. If a person looks unto a false god, a Christian can not have fellowship with him. If AA can not choose God as the only God, then they are not able to serve Him. They are at enmity with the Lord. Do not be deceived by those who do not really seek God and freedom from sin, but rather release only from their substance, disaster and misery that their bad habit brings. Even if they do abstain from the substance that is destroying them, they still are in blindness. Do not let them lead you into the ditch. Get away from erroneous, so-called “Christian” church leaders that direct people that way, such as the Salvation Army and other organizations, that usually profit through hand-outs and perhaps state help.

If you have suffered from addiction and substance abuse, stop it: be faithful and practice self-control. Sure, you may need help beginning a substance-free life, but look unto God for it. He can give you instant release. You may have to sleep and eat at some places that don't really honor God, but you don't have to think like they do. You can be quiet, and even avoid their association and false doctrine as much as possible while you are among them, letting them know as little as possible about your faith that they mock. You can prove your real friendship to them by keeping from sin and being a true example, especially by getting away from them when you have the ability to safely make a better move. Ask God to make the way for you. I (perhaps you may not agree) don't think hanging around those AA promoting places is a good idea at all. The sooner you can get away, the better, perhaps even if you just have to leave in faith alone. Prayer is a great help for a Christian. Higher standard living is relieving in its own way if you come among a Christian group, but you will even find treacherous discrepancies among Christians and groups that claim Jesus is the only way. However, at least they admit there is only one God, the God most high, our Lord.

It seems there is especially no easy way out of hardship for the low income person, especially if you are white. The NWO white emasculation program (Affirmative Action) made it so you may have five hundred people ahead of you more favorable for a good job even if you have better skills and are more capable. Whether an addict or not, having a place to sleep or not, seeking the Lord is the only way to success. There are dangers involved in coming from a low living standard to a higher living standard, and growing pains, especially if you have been on your own for a long while. God can lift a person. It is never hopeless even with a little faith, that is just Satan's lie he wants people to think.

God offers deliverance to everyone, but the individual must seek Him, and no other! John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

May God's grace, peace and mercy be upon all who love him in sincerity, amen.

Sadly, it seems many women find it more difficult to annul illicit relationships than drug addictions.
